August 27th, 2007

Mark you calendars for September 9, 2007, this is National Pet Memorial Day.  The International Association of Pet Cemeteries has designated the second Sunday in September as National Pet Memorial Day.  Most pet cemeteries observe this day with special ceremonies, open houses, and other events.

How can you honor the memory of your pet?

  • Hold a memorial service at a pet cemetery or in a place that was special to your animal.
  • Find a special urn for your pets ashes.
  • Create a living memorial by planting a tree, bush or flower bed.
  • Frame a photo of your pet and put it in a special place.
  • Create a scrapbook or collage with photos of your pet.
  • Volunteer at an animal shelter to help other pets.
  • Create an online pet memorial at www.mypet4ever.com

MyPet4Ever.com is growing!  We have added more memorial options for our customers.  These include Survivor Tributes, these are tributes dedicated to cancer survivors.  Survivors can post there stories and experiences and share with other survivors and family members.  It is a great way of expressing yourself.  The site can be viewed at www.celebrate4today.com.

Also, we will be featured in the Northwest Herald and the Business Journal coming in September.  We will let you know the exact date and provide a link to the article.
